PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The
Project titled “PARCEL SERVICE
MANAGEMENT” is designed using Active Server Pages .NET with Microsoft
Visual Studio.Net 2008 as front end and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as back end
which works in .Net framework version 3.5 the coding language used is C# .Net.
The Cargo Tracking System provides transporting the goods
from one place to other place. The Companies, those who are transporting their
products are getting more profit by selling their products in remote areas
through our transport. This System is mainly based on road way transport and it
also refers Air and Water way cargo transports through our ads. It
provides Quality and Quick transportation
With less charges and
taxes. It transports different types of goods like food products, oil,
steel, iron, vehicles and it has an online facility to know current status of
cargo transaction

USER REGISTRATION:
The customer should register their
names and their details in order to send their materials .The user registration
contains their details in order to track the items which they have send to a
particular destinations.
SERVICES:
In this module it describes about the overall
services provided by the parcel service company. It also describes about the
areas in which the parcel service company is dealing with.
ADMIN:
The module contains of admin where
the overall control of the company is carried out. The admin take care of all
the process carried out in the company. He gets information about the parcels
that are booked in the company regardless of the branches.
TRACK ITEMS:
This module deals with tracking the items
which they have send and the tracking can be done by entering the parcel id which
is given while booking.
CONTACT US:
Contact us is the module which mentions the
relationship between the customer and the company. It contains the company
details like the company phone number, email id and the website of the company.
It also contains the form in which the customer enters all his details.
