abstract

                             Audit is an evaluation of a person, organization, system, process, enterprise, project or product. The term most commonly refers to audits in accounting, but similar concepts also exist in project management, quality management, and for energy conservation.

                             Audit is a vital part of accounting. Audits are performed to ascertain the validity and reliability of information; also to provide an assessment of a system's internal control. The goal of an audit is to express an opinion on the person / organization/system (etc) in question, under evaluation based on work done on a test basis.

                             Due to practical constraints, an audit seeks to provide only reasonable assurance that the statements are free from material error. Hence, statistical sampling is often adopted in audits. In the case of financial audits, a set of financial statements are said to be true and fair when they are free of material misstatements - a concept influenced by both quantitative and qualitative factor.

 EXISTING SYSTEM

                                    At Present all the activities in transaction are handled by MS-EXCEL. As an organization expands in size and function, a stage is reached when this bonded structure become inadequate and inefficient. In Excel each every time the reference should be made. There are high possibilities to commit errors, which leads to produce the wrong statements to the management. Report Generation is also not an easy task.

Limitations of Existing System

                          There are a lot of reasons for introducing the new system; they are mainly due to the drawbacks and inefficiency of the existing system.
               

                 1. Not able to operate in a LAN environment
                2. Cannot able to Configure by the user
                3. Problems in updating and backup
                4. Time Consuming
                5. Possibilities of man made errors.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

                    The system study investigates the problems and identifies alternated solution, then finally recommends a best solution.

                   The system gives the remedy for the troubles given by the existing system.

Advantages of Proposed System
          1. The Proposed system is very user friendly and it allows the user to                              configure the new settings.
          2. Stored data and procedures can be easily updated.
          3. Accuracy and security of data will be more comfortable for the                          organization.
          4. Due to Validation Check in this proposed system avoids the human errors.
