Project Monitoring & Control (PMC
Abstract
PMC is performed to provide understanding and
insight into the project’s progress so that appropriate corrective actions can
be taken when the project’s performance deviates significantly from the plan.
Aspects of a project’s progress include interfaces
to other organizations, deliverables, schedules, cost, effort, risk, reviews,
verification, validation, and amount of supporting services.
Planned management of these aspects is captured in
one or more software and/or system plans.
Various
aspects of system use are taken into accounts while designing and coding.
Necessary checks are implemented wherever required to eliminate the possibility
of improper use of the system.
This
software is developed with various built in tags so the user will find lots of
convenience, ease, and reliability while working with the system.
As
this offers complete selection facilities, it proves to be user friendly with
its flexible approach to the future modifications, enhancement curtailments
suiting the future requirements.
Every
user has its own Login Id and password.
Based on the login details, users are redirected to their respective
modules like In case of a DSU user it will be redirected to DSU module and so
on. So, this project is web enabled so that authorized user can access this
system from any location easily
EXISTING SYSTEM
During the execution of a project,
procedures for project control and record keeping become indispensable tools to
managers and other participants in the construction process.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
Schedule
information and cost accounts are usually kept separately. As a result, project
managers themselves must synthesize a comprehensive view from the different
reports on the project plus their own field observations.
In
particular, managers are often forced to infer the cost impacts of schedule
changes, rather than being provided with aids for this process.
Communication
or integration of various types of information can serve a number of useful
purposes, although it does require special attention in the establishment of
project control procedures.
