Vehicle Reorganization system
ABSTRACT
This
project provides the ability to identify vehicle and owner information using
the identification mechanism. Could be useful for Police for theft checking and
reduction, insurance companies could use it for physical verification of the
vehicle, Vehicle workshops could use it to better the customer service.
Vehicle
information could be accessible within punching of a button or even may be
moment the vehicle enters a premise or is near any tracker hardware.
The
project has been planned to be having the view of distributed architecture,
with centralized storage of the database. The application for the storage of
the data has been planned. Using the constructs of MS-SQL Server and all the
user interfaces has been designed using the ASP.Net technologies. The database
connectivity is planned using the “SQL Connection” methodology. The standards
of security and data protective mechanism have been given a big choice for
proper usage. The application takes care of different modules and their
associated reports which are produced as per the applicable strategies and
standards that are put forwarded by the administrative staff.
The
entire project has been developed keeping in view of the distributed client
server computing technology, in mind. The specifications have been normalized
up to 3NF to eliminate all the anomalies that may arise due to the database
transaction that are executed by the general users and the organizational
administration. The user interfaces are browser specific to give distributed
accessibility for the overall system. The internal database has been selected
as MS-SQL server. The basic constructs of table spaces, clusters and indexes
have been exploited to provide higher consistency and reliability for the data
storage. The MS-SQL server was a choice as it provides the constructs of
high-level reliability and security. The total front end was dominated using
the ASP.Net technologies. At
all proper levels high care was taken to check that the system manages the data
consistency with proper business rules or validations. The database
connectivity was planned using the latest”SQL Connection” technology provided
by Microsoft Corporation. The authentication and authorization was crosschecked
at all the relevant stages.

PROBLEM IN EXISTING SYSTEM
• Cannot Upload and Download the latest
updates.
• No use of Web Services and Removing.
• Risk of mismanagement and of data when
the project is under development.
• Less Security.
• No proper coordination between different
Applications and Users.
• Fewer Users - Friendly.
SOLUTION OF THESE PROBLEMS
The
development of the new system contains the following activities, which try to
automate the entire process keeping in view of the database integration
approach.
1. User friendliness is provided in the
application with various controls.
2. The system makes the overall project
management much easier and flexible.
3. Readily upload the latest updates, allows
user to download the alerts by clicking the URL.
4. There is no risk of data mismanagement at
any level while the project development is under process.
5. It provides high level of security with
different level of authentication.
STUDY OF THE SYSTEM
GUI’S
In
the flexibility of the uses the interface has been developed a graphics concept
in mind, associated through a browser interface. The GUI’S at the top level
have been categorized as
1. Administrative user interface
2. The operational or generic user interface
The
administrative user interface concentrates on the consistent information that
is practically, part of the organizational activities and which needs proper
authentication for the data collection. The interfaces help the administrations
with all the transactional states like Data insertion, Data deletion and Date updating
along with the extensive data search capabilities.
The
operational or generic user interface helps the users upon the system in
transactions through the existing data and required services. The operational
user interface also helps the ordinary users in managing their own information
helps the ordinary users in managing their own information in a customized
manner as per the assisted flexibilities.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
To
debug the existing system, remove procedures those cause data redundancy, make
navigational sequence proper. To provide information about audits on different
level and also to reflect the current work status depending on
organization/auditor or date. To build strong password mechanism.
NEED FOR COMPUTERIZATION
We
all know the importance of computerization. The world is moving ahead at lightning
speed and everyone is running short of time. One always wants to get the
information and perform a task he/she/they desire(s) within a short period of
time and too with amount of efficiency and accuracy. The application areas for
the computerization have been selected on the basis of following factors:
• Minimizing
the manual records kept at different locations.
• There
will be more data integrity.
• Facilitating
desired information display, very quickly, by retrieving information
from users.
• Facilitating
various statistical information which helps in decision-making?
• To
reduce manual efforts in activities that involved repetitive work.
• Updating
and deletion of such a huge amount of data will become easier.

Admin Module
In
this Module Admin logs with his credentials and performs all activities just
like other users. The admin will register the Insurance Agents, Service Agents,
and Vehicle Registration to Owner. Admin will see the order Details, Feedback
Details of Various Customer and Agents and General Users and Admin will Add the
New Products.
Customer
This
module covers all requirement of an end user of the vehicle Reorganization
system. Customer means that is buy the vehicle or register the vehicle, he logon
to the site by typing the URL and providing the required credentials to get any
information of the service of vehicle, insurance details present status and
history of the previous details. He can also send his feedbacks to the
administrators.
Service Center
In
this module service Agent should be register then only, Authenticated to
service the vehicle. He is the only person to service the vehicle. He can see
the present status and history of the service details. He can generate the
reports on service details.
Insurance
In
this module the insurance Agent should be register then only he can authorized
to open the site the registered Agent only enter the Insurance Details and see
the present status and History of Insurance Details and Generate the Reports on
the Insurance Details and send feedbacks to the customers.
Web Services
Every
Application needs to share data from its application to others in a universal
form. Web services enable users to do that Vehicle Reorganization System web
service are not only meant for users of their application but for any other
portal/project that want to take this data as source using web service. One can
share data for his own application and also to other applications. Vehicle
Reorganization System use the services developed in the own application to get
information.
Enquiry (Police)
This
is one important module in this project to find the thefts and find owner
information details. It is mostly for police to find theft.
Reports
Various
level of information is provided in this module user is redirected to reports
page where he can select the reports, which are needed.
Present
Vehicle Service, Insurance status, History of vehicle service and Vehicle
Insurance Details.
Search
In
this Module many no of vehicle information will get to the customer and general
users.
